Meet Venkata Datta Sai, The Man Set to Marry Double Olympic Medallist PV Sindhu

PV Sindhu Wedding:  India’s double Olympic Medallist PV Sindhu is soon to exchange vows with a Hyderabad-based IT professional Venkata Datta Sai on 22 December in Udaipur. The two will also throw a wedding reception on 24 December in Hyderabad, revealing Sindhu’s father PV Ramana to PTI. Throwing light on when the decision was finalized he also underscored that the match was finalized by the agreement of both families this month only as Sindhu had a busy schedule. The wedding dates too were set to accommodate the occupied season of Sindhu in 2025. He said, “The two families knew each other but it was only a month ago that everything was finalized. This was the only possible window as her schedule will be hectic from January.”

Who is Venkata Datta Sai ?

Based in Hyderabad, Venkata Datta Sai is an IT professional currently chairing the executive director position at Posidex Technologies. He is serving as the Managing Director for Sour Apple Asset Management since 2019. 

His father GT Venkateshwar Rao, is the managing director at Posidex Technologies, with a boisterous role at the Indian Revenue Service in the past. 

Venkata started his career as an intern with JSW and an in-house consultant. His LinkedIn profile reveals that he has also managed teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

His LinkedIn bio gives an insight into her job which he describes as, “The loan that you get in 12 seconds or the credit card that you have thanks to the instant credit score matching? Just some of the most complex problems I solve using a proprietary entity resolution search engine. My solutions and products are deployed for critical operations at some of the biggest banks from HDFC to ICICI. Rest assured, most of you would have used one of my creations unwittingly at least once in your lifetime”

Sai comes from an impressive academic career. He earned a Diploma in Liberal Arts and Sciences/ Liberal Studies from the Foundation of Liberal and Management Education. He holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance from Flame University and a Master’s degree in Data Science and Machine Learning from the Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore.
