Violence took place on March 30, Ram Navami, in a number of locations throughout the nation. One of these locations was Vadodara in Gujarat, where the environment is still far from tranquil. Although there remains a partial prohibition on mobility and police are still present in numerous areas, the situation is under control. Similar conditions exist in West Bengal's Howrah. The Shobha Yatra was stoned there as well by antisocial groups, which sparked violence.
The cops staged a flag march in the area following the commotion. Mamta Banerjee, the chief minister, then made a remark. Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister, stated, "They (BJP) have been calling goons from outside the state to handle communal riots," without mentioning the party. But, they do not have the right to march with swords and bulldozers. Nobody halted their processions. What the heck are they doing in Howrah?"
