UP News: Activists Hoisted Saffron Flag at Prayagraj’s Ghazi Miyan Dargah, Watch Video

UP News: On the festival of Ram Navami in Prayagraj, activists from the Maharaja Suheldev organization climbed onto the roof of Salar Masood Ghazi’s dargah and hoisted a saffron flag. The video of hoisting the flag went viral on social media, prompting the authorities to conduct an inquiry and efforts to identify those seen in the video.

Allegations of Illegal Mazar 

During the Ram Navami procession, around 20 youths formed a bike rally led by Manendra Pratap Singh at around 4:20 pm on Sunday evening in the Sikandar region of Prayagraj. Three of them climbed to the roof and hoisted the saffron flag using the dargah’s wall as support.  Maharaja Suhadev Samman Suraksha Manch has also written to the District Magistrate and Police Commissioner, alleging that the Mazar of Ghazi Miyan in Sikandra was built illegally.
