Ranveer Allahbadia Controversy: Is banning the artist a solution to non-tolerance towards “dirty jokes”?

Ranveer Allahbadia Controversy:  The ongoing controversy of Ranveer Allahbadia’s “crass jokes” on Indian parents has gained traction for disrespecting the culture and values of the country. 

The controversy has brought many questions about artistic freedom, and cultural values. The debate has begun whether banning the artists is the solution or showing tolerance towards the genre of art, and letting the artist do their job. 

The jokes made on Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent were intolerable to some but sending the artist to jail is being considered “too much”.
