Ruckus in Punjab Assembly: The opposition is scared, says Navjot Singh Sidhu, amidst furore between Congress & Akali Dal leaders

Ruckus in Punjab Assembly:

A resolution was passed in the Punjab Assembly on Thursday to repeal the agriculture laws of the Centre. During this, there was a heated argument between Congress leaders and Akali Dal leaders. After the uproar, Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu said that the opposition was scared, so there was a deliberate ruckus in the Punjab Assembly.

What did Navjot Singh Sidhu say?

Navjot Singh Sidhu said that Channi (Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi) government and Congress are working for the people. Whatever has been announced is not only for the next 2-3 months but for the coming 5 years. Sidhu said that the Channi government has come now and has become the new head of the party, while the promises being made are the fruits of that Punjab model. It is just an initial stage, while much more is to come further.

During the session on Thursday, a fierce fight took place between Bikram Singh Majithia and CM Channi in the assembly, during which, Navjot Sidhu referred to Majithia as a smack. During the session, a lot of debate took place between Majithia and CM Channi.

Punjab CM Channi targets Akali Dal:

During the special session, Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi said, "It is the Akali Dal that brought the BJP to Punjab. The one that brought the RSS and the BJP to Punjab is the Akali Dal. Injustice was done to Jammu and Kashmir and the section of Jammu and Kashmir was broken. The state was abolished. Where was Sukhbir Badal then? Where was Sukhbir Badal when the rights of the states were being abolished in the constitution of the country? The rights of Jammu and Kashmir were snatched away, Sukhbir Badal did not say anything then."
