Early Life & Education
Sai Ketan Rao was born to a middle-class family in Lonavala, Maharashtra. His father is an architect from Maharashtra, and his mother is a nutritionist from Hyderabad. He began his education in Solapur, Maharashtra, but soon moved to Pune and settled in Hyderabad. He finished his 10th grade at Vignan School in Hyderabad and went on to study B. Tech in Computer Science at the Hyderabad Institute of Technology and Management. After graduating, he earned his MBA in System Operations from the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management in Hyderabad.

Rao worked for an Australian company after finishing his education, but he had a strong desire to act since childhood and attended Ramanaidu Film School. After graduating from theatre arts, he began his acting career, working on both short and feature films. He also owns the film production company ‘Aurum Motion Pictures’. Apart from being highly educated and having good acting talent, Ketan is also a state-level boxer.

The actor rose to prominence with his role as “Raghav Rao” in ‘Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali’ and “Raunaq Babbar (Reddy)” in ‘Chashni’. The actor was last seen playing a double lead role as “Agasthya Singh Chaudhary” and “Surya Pratap Reddy” in the Star Plus show ‘Imlie’.
Rao made his television debut with ‘Agni Sakshi’, and also worked in Hindi and Telugu web series such as ‘Three Half Bottles’ (2019), ‘Love Studio’ (2020) on YouTube, ‘Lovely’ (2021), and ‘Aham Bhramhasmi’ (2021). He also appeared in several Tamil films, including ‘Ajay Passayyadu’ (2019), ‘Strangers’ (2021), and ‘Mounam’ (2020).
