Sanjana Ganesan was born on May 6, 1991, to a well-educated family. Her father, Ganesan Ramaswami, is a management guru and author. Her mother, Sushma Ganesan, works as both an advocate and a fitness coach. She had a sister, Sheetal. She grew up in Pune and attended the Bishop’s School. She has a B.Tech degree from Symbiosis Institute of Technology in Pune and was awarded a gold medal for being the highest academic achiever in her batch.
After finishing her engineering degree, Sanjana worked briefly as a software engineer. Ganesan began modeling before becoming a TV host for a brief period of time. Sanjana competed in the ‘Femina Style Diva’ competition in 2012 and made it to the final round. The following year, she also made it to the finals of the ‘Femina Miss India’ competition. Later that year, she won ‘Femina Officially Gorgeous 2013’.
Her entertainment career began after she appeared in the seventh season of the controversial reality show MTV Splitsvilla, in 2014. Unfortunately, an injury forced her to leave the show in the middle.
