Exclusive Interview: Sanjana Sanghi has become a household name, and she has appeared in films like Dil Bechara, Dhak Dhak, and Fukrey 2’. But for the unversed, she started her journey into acting as a 13-year-old starring in an Imtiaz Ali film alongside Ranbir Kapoor. She was then the child artist who played the role of Nargis Fakhri’s sister in the film, and since then, there has been no going back for her.
In one of her revolutionary films, Dhak Dhak, she starred alongside Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, and Fatima Sana Sheikh. The film about a girl gang's road trip to Ladakh on a motorcycle is one of the few women buddy films created in Hindi cinema. Dwelling on the thought and theme of sisterhood as in her film, she revealed how her gal pals have helped her make her way through college, and today, they stand as her pillar of strength.
