Shaheer Sheikh TV Success
Shaheer Sheikh has turned to acting after trying his hands at photography and receiving an L.L.B degree. He started his career as a model and got his first break in 2009 with a teen show Kya Mast Hai Life. Over the period of more than 15 years, he has earned acclaim for shows like Mahabharat, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi and Yeh Rishte Hai Pyar Ke.

TV Debut
His innocent charm as a young and fresh face then paved the way for him in many shows. A significant leap in his career came with the television show Navya. Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal, where he landed his first lead role in 2011. He further made frequent appearances in Disney’s Best of Luck Nikki, and Star Plus’s Teri Meri Kahani.
Shaheer’s popularity catapulted in India and Indonesia with his 2013 show ‘Mahabharat’ airing on Star Plus. The adaptation of the Indian epic was a critical and commercial success for Shaheer as well who played his most acclaimed role of Arjuna in the show.

Film Career in Indonesia
His fame as Arjuna in Indonesia opened pathways for him in the country's TV and film industry.
Sheikh took a break from Hindi television from 2013 to 2015 and went on to make a mark in the Indonesian entertainment industry.
He started his career with a reality TV show Panah Asmara Arjuna in 2014 followed by The New Eat Bulaga! Indonesia. Sheikh was the co-host of Asia’s Got Talent alongside Marc Nelson and made his Indonesian lead debut with Turis Romantis, a romantic comedy.
Web Debut & ‘Do Patti’
In 2021, Shaheer Sheikh made his web debut with ALT Balaji and Zee5’s Paurushpur, a fictional historical period original drama.
He was also the lead to replace Shushant Singh Rajput from the web tribute show Pavitra Rishta: It's Never Too Late.

Shaheer will be now making his Hindi film lead debut in Netflix's original film ‘Do Patti opposite Kriti Sanon, who will play a double role for the first time in films. Do Patti is slated to stream on Netflix from 25 October.
Personal Life & Education
Shaheer Sheikh was born on 26 March 1984 in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir. He went to Hari Singh Higher Secondary School, Jammu, and pursued a Bachelor of Laws degree from New Law College, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune.

Shaheer tied the knot with his girlfriend Ruchikaa Kapoor in a court marriage on 19 October 2020. The couple is a proud parent of two daughters, Anaya and Kudrat.
