Shivraj Singh Chauhan apologized to NRIs in Pravasi Bhartiya Sammelan | 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan attended the closing ceremony of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention on Tuesday. During this, the CM in his address apologized to the NRIs with folded hands. The CM said that there was no lacuna in the system, but the popularity of PM Modi was such that the hall became small.

Why did Shivraj apologize to NRIs?

Even though they had registration and ID cards, the approximately 3500 NRIs from 70 different countries who arrived in Indore on Monday to attend the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas convention were not permitted entry into the program hall. The treatment of the NRIs profoundly affected them, and when addressing the media, they accused CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan of inadequate accommodations.

Shivraj talks about Madhya Pradesh’s growth

Shivraj talked about the growth of Madhya Pradesh and said “At current pricing, Madhya Pradesh has a 19.76 percent growth rate. the highest in the nation. Our contribution to India's GSDP increased from 3.6% to 4.6% over time. Madhya Pradesh is currently India's food basket. Punjab has fallen behind us in terms of wheat production. Madhya Pradesh is now in the first place. Not one but several accomplishments.”
