Shweta Sharda Miss Diva 2023: The Miss Diva Universe 2023 ceremony was held in Mumbai yesterday, where Shweta Sharda from Chandigarh was crowned the title, with Karnataka’s Trisha Shetty the Miss Diva 2023 runner-up. Miss Diva Universe 2022 Divita Ra presented the Miss Diva Universe 2023 Title to Shweta. Apart from this, Sonal Kukreja from Delhi was crowned Miss Diva Supranational 2023. Shweta will be representing India at the 72nd Miss Universe Pageant 2023 in El Salvador.

Shweta hails from Chandigarh and moved to Mumbai at the age of 16 to pursue her dreams. She has also participated in dance reality shows like Dance India Dance (DID), Dance+, and Dance Deewane. She has also been a part of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa as a choreographer. Not only this, the Chandigarh girl said in an interview that one of her proudest moments was choreographing Deepika Padukone, Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, and Katrina Kaif.
Shweta is reported to have completed her CBSE schooling and is now pursuing her degree through the Indira Gandhi National Open University. She is quite popular on social media, with over 4 lakh Instagram followers. She was recently seen in a music video for the song “Mast Aankhein,” performed by Zubin Nautiyal and Tulsi Kumar, alongside Bollywood actor Shantanu Maheshwari.
Shweta said that she idolises Sushmita Sen and when asked about the most influential person in her life, she took her mother’s name. She was raised by single mother and struggled in her initial years of moving to Mumbai due to financial crunch.
The grand finale of the Miss Diva Universe 11th edition ceremony was attended by celebs like Femina Miss India 1980 Sangeeta Bijlani, Femina Miss India World 2023 Nandini Gupta, Mr World 2016 Rohit Khandelwal, and Mister Supranational Asia and Oceania 2017 Altamash Faraz. During this, Bollywood actors Pulkit Samrat, Lopamudra Raut, Vartika Singh, and Adline Castelino all gave spectacular performances. The beauty pageant encouraged married, divorced, pregnant, engaged, widowed, and transgender women to compete for the title.
