Ranveer Allahbadia Controversy: Supreme Court Relief But Scrutinised For A “Dirty Mind” Content

Ranveer Allahbadia Controversy:  The Supreme Court held the hearing of Ranveer Allahbadia’s case with a bench of Justice Surya Kant and Justice N Kotiswar Singh hearing his plea for anticipatory bail and club FIRs.

The bench of judges has provided him some relief by ruling that no more FIRs will be registered for Allahbadia and he is allowed to seek protection for the death threats and the investigation with the Assam and Maharashtra police. 

However, the Supreme Court criticized Allahbadia, and Samay Raina’s show “India’s Got Latent” for displaying their “dirty mind” in front of an audience as content. It stated that his statement about parents and sex insulted the Indian culture and status of parents. His plea to club FIRs has been rejected and he is not allowed to leave the country with the SC’s permission.
