Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX || Mileage Test || Strange Motorcycle?

Suzuki Motorcycle India had launched a brand new adventure tourer motorcycle V-Strom SX 250 in April. The company has entered the 250 cc sports adventure segment with this bike. Suzuki says that the new bike is efficient in every respect and can be taken for long distance and off-roading apart from daily use. The Suzuki V-Storm SX is based on the design concept of 'toughness in a slender shell', giving it a rugged, adventure-inspired look. The cylinder cell refers to the sleek exterior shape of the motorcycle and the compact engine that is 'patron-like'. Let’s take a look at its specifications.

Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 Specifications

The Suzuki V-Strom SX is powered by a 249cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 26.1 bhp and a torque of 22.2 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Suzuki V-Strom SX comes up with an anti-locking braking system. This V-Strom SX bike weighs 167 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres. The Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) heats up the engine quickly and helps it maintain the proper temperature. This also contributes to the light weight of the engine.

The new V-Strom SX is based on the company’s existing quarter-litre model, the Gixxer 250. The design includes a single-pod headlight, tall stance, muscular fuel tank, tall windscreen, and beak-style front fender. The feature list comprises an LED headlight, LED taillight, and a Bluetooth-enabled fully digital instrument cluster. Apart from the ride-related information, the console also shows alerts on incoming messages, calls, and turn-by-turn navigation. It also shows speed exceeding warnings and displays phone battery level.

The ex-showroom price of the new motorcycle has been kept at Rs 2.12 lakh. It is available in only 1 variant and 3 colours.
