UK PM Rishi Sunak Apologizes For Infected Blood Scandal

World News:  Rishi Sunak, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom on Monday addressed the nation by apologizing for the infected blood scandal cover-up in the State between the 1970s to 1990s. He acknowledged the failure of successive governments and pledged to compensate the victims regardless of the cost. 

More than 3000 people were infected 

In the infected blood scandal, more than three thousand people were infected with viruses including HIV, and Hepatitis when contaminated blood was transfused for decades due to systemic overlook and institutional neglect.
