Mayawati stated on Monday that "information about the registration of a FIR against Atiq Ahmed's son and his wife has also been publicised" in relation to the death of counsel Umesh Pal and his gunman, who was a crucial witness in the case of Raju Pal's murder in Prayagraj years ago. "Taking serious cognizance of this," the BSP leader declared, "BSP has resolved that Mrs. Shaista Parveen and wife Atiq Ahmed will be expelled from the party as soon as they are proven guilty in the ongoing inquiry of the subject."
