Weather Update: IMD Issues Alert For Rain And Thunderstorm In Delhi, UP, and Other States

Weather Update:  An active Western Disturbance has brought some relief from the spell of heatwaves across north India, including Delhi-NCR. The residents took a breath of relief on Sunday with light rain and strong winds bringing down the temperature across the region. 

The India Meteorological Department has issued an alert for light to moderate rain and strong winds across Northeast India from 19th to 21st June.

Thunderstorms and rain with winds of 40-50 km/h is expected in Uttar Pradesh on 16th June, with a strong arrival of southwest monsoon around 20th June.

Some regions in Uttarakhand are on an orange alert due to rain, strong winds, and lightning.
