Anurag Kashyap Phule Row: Director Apologises For Using Bad Language Against ‘Brahmins’

Bollywood News:  Anurag Kashyap shared a wordy Instagram post recently, apologizing for his remarks against the Brahmin community. He acknowledged that he spoke about the Brahmins in bad language in anger, only to answer a foul-speaking user on the internet. He wrote, “In anger, while replying to someone, I forgot my limits. And I spoke badly about the entire Brahmin community. That community, whose people have been in my life, is still there and contributes a lot. Today, all of them hurt me. My family is hurt by me. Many intellectuals, whom I respect, are hurt by my anger and my way of speaking.” 

The row started after the release of Kashyap’s directorial Phule was criticised by users online for the depiction of caste inequalities.
