Brave Entertainment announces a new K-pop girl band called ‘Candy Shop’; Reveals four group members

New K-pop Band:  Brave Entertainment has revealed a new girl band called the ‘Candy Shop’. Candy Shop is expected to make its debut later this year. The entertainment company shared the announcement of the upcoming K-pop girl band, their name, and logo via their official instagram handle on 12 February 2023. 

Why is the group called Candy Shop?

In another post on the gram, Brave Entertainment shares the meaning behind the group's name. The post shares ‘Candy Shop’ to be the compound word for ‘CAtch N Draw Youth’ or a simple ‘let’s catch and draw youth’ to the ‘shop’ which signifies the space of connection between the listeners and the group members.

Sui and Sarang have been garnering much interest from the fans, as the two have already been members of My Teenage Girl, a South Korean girl group survival show.

Their fans have been showering love on both the members exclaiming their excitement to see them perform finally. 

Candy Shop Members 

Candy Shop is a group of four rookie idols, Choi Soui, Choi Sarang, and Jung Soram. The official social media channels of the talent management company have revealed the names and profiles of three members with dance covers by two individual members, Sorang and Sui, and two dance promotions covered by the entire group. However, the details of the final and fourth members of the group are yet to be officially announced.

Candy Shop is Brave Entertainment’s debut launch since Brave Girls in 2011. With the logo reveal of the group, Brave Entertainment elaborated “Candy Shop is a new girl group launched by Brave Entertainment approximately 13 years after the debut of Brave Girls in 2011. Led by Brave Brothers, who have led the success of many girl groups such as Brown Eyed Girls, After School, SISTAR, and AOA, the producers of Brave Entertainment are all in attendance, raising expectations for the birth of a talented girl group that will succeed Brave Girls”.
