Heeramandi on Netflix: Fardeen Khan Makes a Comeback After 14 Years, Check Out the Full Cast and Their Characters

Heeramandi Full Cast: Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut OTT show “Heermandi: The Diamond Bazaar” has surely captivated the audience with the ensembled star cast and their “nawabi” looks from the upcoming Netflix series. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known for showcasing visual grandeur, emotional intensity, and meticulous attention to detail. Taking accounts with Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastaani, Devdas, and other highly historically crafted musical flicks, Bhansali is all set to show love, revenge, and business, all-encompassing in his dream project, which will soon hit the OTT platform.

With the already revealed carefully crafted women characters of the series elevating the anticipation amongst the viewers about the story of “The Diamond Bazaar,” the makers unveiled the men of Heeramandi, with an unexpected comeback of ‘Fida’ actor Fardeen Khan’s almost one and a half decade return to big screens. Fardeen Khan will be playing the role of Wali Mohammed, and the makers shared the posters giving a glmpse of the men of Heeramandi. Apart from Fardeen Khan, the historical series will also feature the real life father-son duo Shekhar Suman and Adhyayan Suman. While Shekhar will be playing the role of Zulfikar, Adhyayan will play as Zoravar, the love interest of Richa Chadha’s character “Lajjo.” Last but not the least, Taha Shah Badussha will play the role of Tajdar in the series. The new posters have increased the expectations of the audience, apart from being a Bhansali grandeur.

Talking about the ladies, we have Manisha Koirala as Mallikajaan, Richa Chadha as Lajjo, Aditi Rao Hydari as Bibbojaan, Sanjeeda Shaikh as Waheeda, Sharmin Segal as Alamzeb, and Sonakshi Sinha as Fareedan. Recently, the makers released two tracks from the film, “Tilasmi Bahein” and “Sakal Ban.” The series is all set to premiere on streaming platform Netflix from May 1, 2024, with Heeramandi being the digital directorial debut of Bhansali. Heeramandi will present the tale of the courtesans of Lahore and delve into the lesser-known facets of their lives.
