J&K News: Security Forces and Terrorists Encounter in Srinagar; Operation Underway

J&K News: A clash between security personnel and suspected terrorists is currently taking place in Srinagar's Nishat district. The three terrorists are hiding inside a house. On Saturday night, security authorities launched an operation to apprehend these suspects after receiving intelligence tips of their presence in the region. The location, which is adjacent to Dachi village as well as the National Park and surrounding bush, has become a hub of activity. While the incident is still ongoing, security forces have sealed the area to prevent any escalation.

Civilians Injured in Terrorist Attack

This conflict comes after a similar incident in Sopore, in which security personnel effectively neutralized a terrorist. Officials have stated that this is the fourth recent armed conflict in North Kashmir, following occurrences in Bandipora, Kupwara, and Sopore. As operations progressed, terrorists in hiding opened fire on a patrol unit, sparking a swift response from security forces. Recently, terrorists fired a grenade at a CRPF bunker in Srinagar, injuring 11 people. Authorities believe that intensified security measures have instilled fear among terrorist groups, adding to increasing resistance.
