Jawan Box Office Collection:  The hype is real. Shah Rukh Khan has blazed the box office charts with a historical opening of his recently released Jawan, making fans go crazy with the stunning performances and the allure of King Khan on the big screen. From the public to many Bollywood biggies, everyone is head over heels for SRK as he spectacularly makes a massive comeback in theatres after Pathan. Just a day after its release, the movie has been performing very well on both domestic and international grounds. Not only this, Shah Rukh has broken his own record with one of the biggest openings in the History of Indian Cinema, beating Pathan’s record.

Jawan has surpassed Pathaan in terms of the largest opening for a Hindi-language film. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Jawan earned roughly Rs 75 crore on day one, with the Hindi version earning approximately Rs 65 crore and the dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions earning approximately Rs 10 crore. With this, Jawan has become the first ever Hindi movie to cross more than 60 Cr in the opening day. The total worldwide collection of Jawan is recorded at Rs 150 Cr. According to Sacnilk, Jawan is likely to earn 45 Cr for all languages on its second day, bringing the total collection to Rs 120 crore across India. 


Jawan Breaks Pathan’s Opening Day Record

SRK has broken his own record with Jawan becoming the first ever Hindi film to cross Rs 60 Cr on the first day. Earlier, Pathaan made a new record of opening at Rs 57 Cr, following a collection of Rs 70 Cr on day two, with a total collection of Rs 543 Cr, however, Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 is expected to overtake Pathan, with a total collection of around Rs 510 crore till now. Directed by Atlee, Jawan is Shah Rukh Khan’s first pan-India movie, which also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and others in key roles. On the first day, the Hindi version had an overall occupancy of 58.67 percent, with Chennai having the highest occupancy at 81 percent.
