Kartarpur Gurudwara Controversy: Surpassing The Sanctity Of Sacred Kartarpur Sahib

Kartarpur Gurudwara Controversy:  Recently an event was held on the holy premises of the Kartarpur Sahib, which allegedly included the serving of alcohol and meat inside the gurudwara. The incident has upset many members of the Sikh community about the sacrilege of the sacred place. 

Upset community members and religious leaders 

The sanctity of the holy place of the Sikh community was violated when the organizers of the party allegedly had alcohol and meat inside the gurudwara. The actions have been condemned by many sikh community members and political leaders criticizing the action. Jagdeep Singh Kahlon, the religious leader urges the Pakistan Government to take “swift action against the responsible people.”

Demands of Apology 

The spokesperson for the deli sikh gurudwara committee, Manjit Singh Bhoma has demanded a public apology from the organisers of the event. The incident also brings to light the poor management of the holy complexes. 

Kartarpur Sahib has immense recognition and significance for the community, and the alleged incident violates their faith as well.
