Maha Kumbh 2025: Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Shankar Mahadevan and Other Bollywood Celebs Expected To Attend Prayagraj

Maha Kumbh 2025: The spectacle of one of the largest religious gatherings is expected to get grander with the presence of veteran names of the Indian film industry like Amitabh Bachchan, Kailash Kher, Anup Jalota, and youth icons including Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. 

A list of Bollywood stars, prominent singers, and promising performers are expected to attend the Maha Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj and take a dip at the Sangam.

Bollywood Stars at Maha Kumbh 2025

Maha Kumbh is the world's biggest religious congregation taking place every 12 years. This year’s Kumbh is special as it is happening at the time of remarkable stars and planetary alignment after 144 years. 

The event has hence gained global recognition, with personalities from major fields marking their presence in the event. Bollywood stars will be one of the biggest attractions this year.

As per several media reports, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, Renuka Shahane, Ashutosh Rana, and youth icons Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, will be attending the mela.

Several Bhojpuri film stars including Ravi Kishan, Manoj Tiwari, and Akshara Singh will also mark their presence at Prayagraj. 

Anup Jalota and Rakhi Sawant are also expected at Maha Kumbh 2025.

Sources claim that these actors will also take a plunge in the holy waters of Sangam, a confluence of sacred rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati.

Singers expected to perform at Maha Kumbh 2025  

Cultural performances are an integral part of the celebrations at the Maha Kumbh. In a press release on Sunday, the Ministry of Culture revealed that “Uttar Pradesh government has invited various artists from all across the country to perform at the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025”.
