Mahakumbh Boat Accident: Boat Carrying Devotees Sunk in River, NDRF Safely Rescues Everyone

Mahakumbh Boat Accident: A serious accident was avoided on Saturday during the Maha Kumbh. A boat carrying pilgrims sank in the Yamuna near Kila Ghat. At the time of the catastrophe, ten pilgrims on board jumped into the river when they saw the boat sink. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel acted quickly and safely to rescue everyone.

NDRF Rescues Every Pilgrim

While devotees were boarding the boat one by one, as soon as the last devotee sat down, the boat became uncontrollable, tilting to one side, and water began to fill it, causing panic among the devotees, who then began jumping into the river. People raised the alarm, and NDRF personnel deployed nearby jumped into the river. Within around five minutes, the ten devotees were safely evacuated.
