Meta adds Twitter Like Features in Threads, Know What It Is And Other New Updates

The Threads app by Meta has seen a sharp decline in users after reaching a user base of 250 million in less than a month. In actuality, users originally wanted to see this software, how it looks, and how it functions. Due to the lack of functionality and inadequate optimization, users began abruptly abandoning the app, which caused Threads' user base to drop by 75%. In the interim, Meta updated the Threads app with a few new features. Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram, disclosed this information via a Threads Post.  

Features added to Threads

Users now have the choice to view a chronological stream of postings from their favorite persons on Meta. Long understood as a means of countering Twitter, this feature was required. Para CAO On his Instagram broadcast channel, Mark Zuckerberg announced the introduction of Threads as a new feature. Adam Mosseri, the CEO of Instagram, had previously acknowledged the launch of such a feature. He had stated that the users would soon have access to such a feature. Following the implementation of such a function in threads, it is anticipated that users will receive news and the most recent changes via Meta's text-based platform.

Translation Feature also rolled out

The Translations feature is also being released by Threads. The thread postings in a user's feed are automatically translated into the language of the viewer and the language in which they were posted. As a result, to see a translation of a post or reply in your language, if you encounter a thread in a different language and it is available, you can hit the translation button at the bottom right of the post or reply. Speaking of additional features included in the update, your Activity feed will now include a few new categories that will allow you to filter by Follows, Quotes, and Reposts. In order to quickly follow other accounts back, there is now a Follow button on your followers list.
