Company BMW Group has launched its new Mini Cooper SE electric hatchback in India. This is the second EV of the automaker. The Cooper SE is Mini's first electric car and BMW Group's second all-electric offering in the Indian market after the BMW iX. The first batch of this electric hatchback was completely sold out within 2 hours in November 2021. Let’s take a look at its specifications.

Mini Cooper SE interiors

Its cabin is like that of the standard Mini Cooper. It gets advanced features like centrally-mounted touchscreen infotainment system, new digital instrument console, Harman Kardon audio unit, heads-up display, multi-function steering wheel, wireless smartphone charging.

The interiors of the Mini Cooper SE electric come equipped with a 5.5-inch coloured MID, an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, sport seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a Nappa leather steering wheel.

The exterior highlights of the Cooper SE are the exclusive 17-inch alloy wheels, a blanked-out front grille, yellow highlights on ORVMs and the front grille, and a black roof that is offered as standard. The Mini Cooper SE is available in four exterior shades - White Silver, Midnight Black, Moonwalk Grey and British Racing Green. Exterior highlights of the Mini Cooper SE electric include circular LED headlamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lights, a new grille, revised front and rear bumpers.

The Mini Cooper SE comes with a single electric motor. This motor generates 181 bhp maximum power and 270 Nm peak torque. Mini Cooper SE packs a 32.6 kWh lithium-ion battery. The company claims a range of 270km for this car on a single charge. In this you will get to see good pickup and speed. This electric Mini Cooper SE is capable of accelerating from 0-60 km/h in 3.9 seconds and 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds. At the same time, its top speed is 150 km / h.

With an 11 kW AC charger, Mini Cooper SE Electric gets charged up to 80 percent in 2.5 hours. At the same time, it takes 3.5 hours to charge it 100%. At the same time, it charges even faster on a 50 kW DC fast charger. Its customers get an 11 kW AC wallbox charger as standard.
