Nadaaniyan Movie Review: Dharmatic Entertainment’s Nadaaniyan adds a fresh twist to the romantic comedy genre by effortlessly blending aspects of romance and deception, earning it the title of “rom-con” of the year. This film marks Ibrahim Ali Khan’s much-awaited debut along side Khushi Kapoor. With its vibrant visuals, digital age concerns, and captivating soundtrack, the film successfully portrays the essence of modern youth. The movie is now available on Netflix.   

Nadaaniyan Movie Plot

Set against the lively backdrop of the digital era, Nadaaniyan follows the lives of Pia Jaisingh (Khushi Kapoor), a social media influencer known for her superb style quotient, and Arjun Mehta (Ibrahim Ali Khan), a talented student from Noida with dreams of becoming a lawyer. The film also explores the complexity of family connections, with Suniel Shetty and Mahima Chaudhary as Pia's parents, bringing depth to her glamorous environment. Jugal Hansraj and Dia Mirza depict Arjun’s caring parents. Apart from this, Apoorva Mukhija (popularly known as The Rebel Kid) and YouTuber Agasthya Shah make noticeable appearances, adding to the film's modern appeal.  

Ibrahim Ali Khan Shines in His Debut

Ibrahim Ali Khan makes a promising debut, effortlessly portraying Arjun's carefree innocence with moments of emotional complexity. Khushi Kapoor has a head-turning performance as Pia, portraying a girl who is elegant, funny, and emotionally complex. Their on-screen chemistry is genuine and interesting, making their blooming romance appealing to viewers. 

Nadaaniyan Review

Nadaaniyan, directed by debutant director Shauna Gautam, showcases an understanding of Gen Z culture, ensuring that the film connects to modern audiences. The film’s music is a mixture of energetic beats and deep melodies, perfectly fitting the film's youthful energy and adds to the overall story. Beyond being a debut film for Ibrahim Ali Khan, Nadaaniyan represents a promising beginning of Ibrahim into Bollywood, with his charm, screen presence, and flawless performance, complemented by Khushi Kapoor’s refreshing performance.  Nadaaniyan is a fun and fascinating movie, earning a 3.5-star rating for its compelling storyline, acting, and modern appeal.
