Odisha Police Recruitment 2021:

The Odisha Police Recruitment Board has given a special opportunity to all the job seekers who are willing to work under the Police Department to apply for the post of Sub-Inspector and Constable in the General Duty and Communication Category. Well, this job opening is special because it is for the first time that the Odisha Police Recruitment Board is going to recruit candidates from the transgender community too, in order to boost their confidence. 

While the online applications for the talked-about posts will start from 22nd June, the last date to apply for the same is 15th July 2021, and the board will conduct the exam in August 2021.  

The total vacancies announced by the board are 721, out of which 477 are for the post of SI, and the rest 244 for the post of Constable.

Eligibility Criteria for the Odisha Police Recruitment 2021:

Educational Qualification for Odisha Police Recruitment 2021:

  • For the post of Sub Inspector (SI): A candidate must be a Graduate from a recognized University or Institution.

  • Constable: The candidate must have passed his Class 12th Exams or any equivalent exam conducted by the Higher Secondary Education Council, Odisha. OR Any diploma course in computer application or equivalent course from a recognized institution duly affiliated by the Government.

Age Limit for Odisha Police Recruitment 2021:

  • Sub Inspector (SI): For the post of a sub-inspector, the candidate must be from 21 to 25 years of age.

  • Constable (Communication): For the post of constable, the candidate must be from 18 to 23 years of age.

All the interested candidates can apply through online mode before 15th July 2021 on the official website of the Odisha Police Recruitment Board which is, https://odishapolice.gov.in/ and the candidates are advised to take a printout of the application submitted, for further reference.
