UP Elections 2022: Aam Aadmi Party releases manifesto named 'AAP Ka Guarantee Patra'

On Thursday, AAP's UP in-charge and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh released the manifesto. In his manifesto he promised a lot of things from free electricity to jobs. They have named it "AAP Ka Guarantee Patra" Let’s look at some of those things. 

Promises for Free Electricity and Farmers made by AAP

Outsourcing and contract workers that will be regularized after the formation of the government. Talking to reporters at the party's state office in the capital, he said that as soon as the AAP government is formed, the Lokpal Bill will be implemented to crack down on corruption.

In the manifesto of AAP, like in Delhi, 300 units of electricity free to domestic consumers, 24 hours electricity, free electricity to farmers and waiving old bills have been promised in UP. Farmers' old loans will be waived and their produce will be paid in 24 hours. Will guarantee MSP. 

Promises for Youth, Women and Education made by AAP

Every year 10 lakh jobs will be given to the youth, unemployment allowance of five thousand rupees will be given every month to the unemployed. 

One thousand rupees per month will be given to the women above the age of 18 years. Women will get a free bus travel facility. 

25 percent of the budget of UP will be spent on education. He promised that they will make government schools better than private schools. Like Delhi, we will put brakes on the arbitrary fees of private schools in UP too.

Special Points included in the Manifesto

  1. On the martyrdom of army personnel and police, an amount of one crore rupees and a dependent will be given a government job.
  2. One crore rupees will be given on the death of Corona Warriors.
  3. A young advocate will be given an assistance of five thousand rupees every month for three years, financial assistance to the lawyers to build a chamber and an insurance of 10 lakh rupees.
  4. CCTV cameras will be installed in villages and localities for security.
  5. Door to door ration distribution system will be implemented on the lines of Delhi.
  6. Clinics will be opened in Mohalla and Village.
  7. The housing scheme will be implemented where there is a slum.
  8. Free pilgrimage scheme for old people.
