UP News: Violence Erupted During Durga Visarjan in Bahraich, One Dead

Baharich Violence: Tension has been existing since stone pelting and shooting occurred during the Durga idol immersion procession in Maharajganj, Hardi police station area of Bahraich. This incident left two persons critically injured, one of whom died while being treated in the hospital. Following this occurrence, the police force has been deployed throughout the neighborhood. 

Hardi Police In-charge Suspended

This incident occurred in Rehua Mansoor village, which is part of the Hardi police station area. On Sunday, when Maa Durga's idol arrived in front of Abdul Hameed's house, unknown people began pelting stones at it. Not only that, but the miscreants opened fire while pelting stones, injuring two persons. Following Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's severe stance in this situation, the in-charge of Hardi police station and the outpost in-charge who were irresponsible have been suspended.
