Wrestlers Protest: Twist in the sexual abuse case on Brij Bhushan, the wrestler who lodged the FIR turned out to be an adult

Wrestlers Protest: Substantial information on the accusations made against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the departing president of the Indian Wrestling Federation and a BJP MP, by a female wrestler, has come to light today. The female wrestler who reported sexual harassment has been identified as an adult. This affirmation is supported by a birth certificate that was received from the wrestler's Rohtak school. 

The case is way too sensitive and that’s why the officials from the Delhi Police headquarters have refrained from making any official statements on this high-profile case however, sources within the headquarters have confirmed the information. The female wrestler had initially lodged a complaint at the Connaught Place police station, claiming that she was a minor when subjected to sexual assault by Brij Bhushan. Subsequently, the police registered a separate case against him under the relevant sections pertaining to sexual exploitation and misconduct.
