Cannes 2025: Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt continues to be the talk of the town even when the Cannes film festival has officially ended. For the closing ceremony of the festival, she wore a historic outfit, the first-ever saree-inspired Gucci outfit, as she stands as the global ambassador of the brand. From her stunning debut to her final attire, Bhatt proved that she is equally a fashion diva and a maestro actress.

Schiaparelli Debut

Fans and fashion enthusiasts alike were waiting with bated breath for Alia’s debut at Cannes, and she made it all worth it. She walked the carpet as a L’Oreal girl debuting in a beige pink Schiaparelli gown from Maison's Spring/Summer 2025 line, featuring off-shoulder details, lace, and ruffle details at the train. She was styled in haute couture by Rhea Kapoor in an old Hollywood glam with a sleep hairdo and minimal jewels.

Bejeweled Armani Goddess   

Her the second look for the Lights On Women Awards, Alia decided to embrace the bold with a midnight sky like gown from Giorgio Armani Prive bejeweled with twinkling crystals featuring a bold tube neckline with dark blue and crystal embellishment, adding a celestial appearance to her look. Her matching bejeweled headpiece and crystal diamond drop earrings added to the glittering flair.

‘Gucci Girl’ 

Shouldering her roles as the Global face of Gucci, Alia turned into a head-to-toe Gucci girl in a vibrant yellow look with a bold red lip. Her piece ensemble featured a yellow bustier with a sweetheart neckline layered with the same tone of open blazer completed with a body-hugging pencil skirt channelising her Hollywood glam. Historic Gucci Saree

Bhatt walked the red carpet for the closing ceremony of the festival in a look that took breaths away, and etched a space in the history books. As the Global Gucci Girl, she wore Gucci’s first-ever saree-inspired look featuring a nude-hued diamond net saree gown with a plunging blouse, a straight skirt, and a dupatta-like drape with a trail behind her. She completed the look in an all custom Victorian set diamond with her natural look in a soft, dewy makeup, kohled eyes, and soft waves.
