Cannes 2024 Red Carpet: The ongoing Festival de Cannes 2024 is bringing the best of India, both at the cinema and fashion levels. Commenced on May 14, 2024, the 10-day film festival is showing the best of both cinema and style, with India leading the race. The 77th edition of the global event is going on in full swing, serving looks and writing another chapter in the beautiful French Riviera. The Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in French Rivera will play host to hundreds of celebrities, filmmakers, and influencers. This year, under the theme ‘Many Ways To Be An Icon’, the festival aims to celebrate confidence and self-empowerment.
Indians At Cannes 2024
Like every year, Bollywood celebs and Indian personalities took over the red carpet showcasing their immaculate fashion prowess, from the debutants to the regulars, everyone has kept their top-notch fashion game on the red carpet this year. Celebs including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Urvashi Rautela, graced the red carpet once again, while Sobhita Dhulipala and Kiara Advani are making their Cannes debut this year. Apart from this, influencers including Ankush Bahuguna, Niharika NM, Nancy Tyagi, RJ Karishma, Vishnu Kaushal, singer and rapper King, and Aastha Shah are making their debut on the red carpet.

Shark Tank India judge and healthcare entrepreneur Namita Thapar made her Cannes Debut this year and attended the premiere of Chris Hemsworth’s ‘Furiosa A Mad Max Saga’. The director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals wore a mint green gown with a leg slit and a long train designed by Lebanese fashion designer Elio Abou Fayssal.
Sharan Hegde
Sharan Hegde, a finance content creator and the founder of the 1% Club, will make his red carpet debut at the prestigious Festival De Cannes, becoming the first South Asian finance creator to represent India at the film festival. The financial expert was also named in GQ’s Most Influential Young Indians list.
Chef Sanjyot Keer
Indian chef Sanjyot Keer will be attending the Cannes 2024, becoming the second Indian chef after Chef Vikas Khanna to debut at the film festival. Sanjyot Keer is a popular YouTuber and has a good fan following on Instagram, known for his delicious and fusion recipes showcasing the culinary culture of India.
Shehzaan Khan
Known as the “Blush Boy,” Shehzaan Khan is known for his smooth dancing skills and the infectious charm that he brings onto the screen with every dance video. The choreographer is all set to make his red carpet debut this year. Shehzaan is known for his viral “Laung Da Lashkara” dance giving him the title of “National Patiala Boy.”
Viraj Gehlani
YouTuber turned actor and director Viraj Gehlani, known for his cameo in Jawan, and other notable appearances in videos of FilterCopy, DiceMedia, etc. made his Cannes debut and attended the screening of Chirs Hemsworth’s Furiosa A Mad Max Saga. The YouTuber also posed with Chris Hemsworth and shared pictures on his social media. Viraj Ghelani is attending the Cannes 2024 to promote his first film, Jhamkudi, which will be released on May 31.
