The Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara, located in the Narowal district of Pakistan's Punjab province, is just 4.5 kilometers from the border near Dera Baba Nanak. This holy site will now be open again to Indian pilgrims throughout the year through the corridor. According to information received from the officials, the construction work of the 4.2 km long corridor was done a week before the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, in 2019. Every passenger will have to pay a fee of about Rs 1420 as a visiting fee to visit the holy shrine of Kartarpur Sahib. The officers of both the countries signed the agreement on Zero Line near Dera Baba Nanak Sahib. This corridor to Kartarpur Sahib will remain open from morning till evening, and the passengers will have to return on the same day, while about 5 thousand devotees will be able to visit daily.

It must be noted that passengers will travel only till Kartarpur Sahib, and will be forbidden to go anywhere else. Along with this, the passengers will have to go back in the morning and return by evening on the same day. Children below the age of thirteen and the elderly above 75 years will not be able to travel alone, and can only travel in groups. A passenger will be able to carry a bag weighing up to Rs.11 thousand and up to seven kg.
