The health of Azam Khan, former minister of Uttar Pradesh and MLA from Rampur of Samajwadi Party, has suddenly deteriorated. He has been admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi after a heart attack. According to the information, when Azam Khan was in Rampur, he felt a burning sensation in the chest, rate and shortness of breath. Azam Khan was in Delhi on Tuesday.

After the examination, the doctors told Azam Khan that he had had a heart attack. In the investigation, a blockage was found in a vein of his heart. Later on Tuesday itself, doctors put a stunt in his heart after angioplasty. At present, Azam Khan's condition is said to be stable and he is undergoing treatment in the ICU.

Azam Khan's health is fine, but doctors have now kept him in the ICU under their supervision. He may be discharged from the hospital after a day or two.
